I call shenanigans on the amount of work awaiting me this holiday season! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the family, food, gifts, and memory-making but I hate to clean, cook, and shop. Okay…maybe not shop, but I hate the mad rush for perfection. I’m the holiday girl in the family. I cook and plan for weeks before the big day and I shop literally all year round. I’m the hostess with the mostest but the honorable duty is exhausting. I started a new tradition last year. Now I take one afternoon out of the craziness to read a good book. This year I’m planning to switch it up and let my Kindle read to me while I relax in a nice bubble bath.
